Hospitality has always played an eminently important role for the Benedictines: according to the Rule of St. Benedict, a guest is warmly welcomed and honored on behalf of Christ.
The Mariastein Monastery offers people the unique opportunity to experience the special atmosphere of monastic life. According to the Rule of St. Benedict, with the guest also Christ is received.
Religious pilgrims and secular visitors, individuals and groups, enjoy throughout the year the heartfelt hospitality of the Benedictines. The cozy guesthouse with 20 rooms, the regular daily schedule with fixed meal times give the outsiders an incomparable insight and an unforgettable impression of the monastic life. In addition to the invitation to table and dialogue, guests are welcome to volunteer with the monks.

In addition to 3 meeting rooms and ample parking, the small garden, the lounge with the reference library, a piano and a harpsichord are at the guests' disposal. And the technical infrastructure leaves nothing to be desired:
