The Benedictine monastery of Mariastein combines
tradition and structural innovation with the “Aufbruch ins Weite” project
.
The library was reorganized from 2016 to 2022
and made accessible to the public
. The monastery square is currently being redesigned and
will continue to be until 2026. Visitors
can take a guided tour of the monastery, library and construction site
and experience the living
history of the site.
