From January 1, 2025, the Berest Group, based in Basel, will manage the hotel and restaurant operations of the Benedictine monastery of Mariastein: the Klosterhotel Kreuz, the Restaurant Post and the guest area on the monastery grounds with the Gertrudishaus and the old abbey. This solution was devised as part of the overall project “A new beginning – Mariastein 2025”, which aims to secure the future of Mariastein as a pilgrimage and monastery village.
