The Benedictine monastery of Mariastein offers priests who are looking for a place to take a break the opportunity to share monastic life with us for 1 – 3 months.
In addition to plenty of time for study, prayer and meditation, walks, sports, etc., we are grateful for support with liturgical and pastoral services at the place of pilgrimage (e.g. mass celebrations, blessings, pastoral and confessional talks or other small services). A quiet room with shower/WC and internet access is available, as well as the use of the monastery library and the monastery garden.
We are happy to negotiate the scope and compensation (e.g. in the form of a reduction in pension costs) with you.
